Cube’s investment into town centre development

Bolton town centre now has a virtual shop window. The web has dominated the way in which people research, purchase, learn and manage different aspects of their lives.

According to recent figures from the Office for National Statistics, 18.3 million households in the UK (70 per cent) had Internet access in 2009. This is an increase of just under 2 million households (11 per cent) over the last year.

With this in mind, businesses are utilising opportunities online to showcase the credentials and services they can offer to perspective clients.  One such project has recently been completed by award-winning creative marketing agency, Cube3 for the newly developed, Central Bolton website.

The main purpose of the Central Bolton site is to promote Bolton town centre as a key destination for shopping, events, attractions, eating out, entertainment and nightlife. Proficient in all aspects of integrated marketing, Cube3 were able to apply the established Central Bolton identity and apply it to an accessible online portal that seamlessly integrated all required features into one central hub for Bolton town centre.

The site was commissioned by The Central Bolton Partnership; a subscription-based partnership, the aim of which is to support the economic viability of Bolton town centre.

Integrated specialists, Cube3 also incorporated Google maps to add an accommodating new dimension to the site, whilst creating engaging consumer targeted competitions and optimised search facilities.

Cube3’s Managing Director, Karl Barker commented:
