Team Cube3’s 5-a-Side!

Last Thursday saw the first installment of Cube3’s five-a-side football games. Due to the absence of a few members, this week was a rather painful 4 vs 4 – painful due to the blazing hot sun and the fitness levels of a few team members (Chris!). Read the rest of this entry »

It’s always nice to get a good review!

We’re very proud of the creative projects we complete for our clients, so when we receive praise from one of the industry’s leading publications we think it deserves a mention!

Marketing voice-piece, The Drum, featured a creative review of some recent projects in the latest issue of their magazine.

The write up was carried out by Maxxium UK’s senior brand manager, Gregor Mina – who gave our Central Bolton website a sparkling review!

The launch of Caffeine: Google brews up new search engine index

This week sees the launch of Caffeine, Google’s brand spankin new indexing system! For those not familiar with the old system, what it basically means is this…

When you search for something in Google you’re not in fact searching a ‘live’ web but an indexing system, which is kind of like a reference guide for Google that lets it know what’s relevant and what isn’t.

So why change it?

As we move into a ‘real-time’ era of blogging, forums and up to the minute news items, searchers want information that is accurate, current and relevant to their day. To match people’s expectations of the world wide web, Google is now indexing thousands of pages every second to bring users the most up-to date….well, everything basically!

The new system provides 50% fresher results for web searches than the last index, and is the largest collection of web content offered today.

This is great news for us as we love all things digital! To find out more about our online marketing services just click here!

Cube’s investment into town centre development

Bolton town centre now has a virtual shop window. The web has dominated the way in which people research, purchase, learn and manage different aspects of their lives.

According to recent figures from the Office for National Statistics, 18.3 million households in the UK (70 per cent) had Internet access in 2009. This is an increase of just under 2 million households (11 per cent) over the last year.

Could Cube3 be the best place to work? We think so!

Crain's

We’ve always been proud of our team ethos here at Cube3 so when an opportunity came along for us to shout about it we did just that!

Leading Manchester Business magazine, Crain’s recently launched a survey to find the best place to work in and around the Manchester area so of course we had to enter!

We are very pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted in the ‘nearly big’ category, beating off competition from hundreds of other applicants.

The initiative was created to recognise and honour those companies that have created positive work environments within their organisation and also to celebrate employee contribution to the workplace.

So now we have to wait until June 17th to find out if Crain’s think we are worthy of the title – ‘Best Place to Work 2010′!

We shall keep you posted!

Providing Marketing support for Alliance Learning…

Letter from Alliance Learning

As an extension to the Marketing and PR support we provide for client Alliance Learning, we have once again assisted the company with their annual awards evening.

Donating our marketing resources, we created a table plan and programme of events in keeping with the ‘glitz and glamour’ of the evening!

As a thank you, Alliance Learning has sent Cube3 a letter of appreciation – which you can read above. It’s always nice to receive thanks for the work we complete, so we’re quite happy to share this with you! :)
