Here at Cube³, we have built up a bit of a reputation for our Christmas stunts! As I’m sure some of you remember, last year we transformed our office into a nativity scene and filmed our journey from Bolton to Manchester – Mary & Joseph style!

So in keeping with tradition, we are again attempting a Xmas campaign with a twist and this year we’re going social!

All you need to do to get involved is log on to Twitter and follow us at @cube3marketing. Tuesday saw charitable members of the Cube³ team, Mark and Paul Bailey, take part in a 5-a-side football tournament.  Held at the Power League Soccer Dome in Trafford and organised by IT assurance provider NCC Group, it raised money for Manchester-based cancer charity, Christie’s. Working in the industry of creative marketing, we owe a lot to Apple and Steve Jobs. Sadly, Steve passed away yesterday after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. The announcement  was made by new Apple CEO Tim Cook, to whom Jobs passed the baton of running the company six weeks ago.

One of the most iconic global companies, Apple’s vision and creative genius has seen them launch some of the world’s most revolutionary products – a lot of which we use on a daily basis here at Cube3.

A fitting tribute is that many people will have learnt of Steve’s death via a device he created.

A sad day for the industry – R.I.P Steve Jobs
